"Our facility went "live" with CPSI in the spring of 1999. We initiated nearly all of the CPSI applications available at that time over a 3-4 month period.

"Working with the CPSI staff during the installation and implementation process could not have been better. The CPSI staff worked side-by-side with our staff as a real team. Everyone did whatever needed to be done to meet all deadlines and to get the job done right. This has continued to be our experience with CPSI; they are always there for us.

"The traditional Point of Care system has met all of our expectations since day one. I believe this is because so much of the application can be user-defined and not just in the initial set up. Moving forward, we can really make it work for us as our needs continue to change. The resulting documentation is clear and easy to review electronically, forever! We use the archived charts regularly for chart reviews and for tracking trends.

"Patient care has certainly been enhanced by all of the patient information that is immediately available to users. The nurse at the bedside has access to any test results, transcriptions or documentation in the CPSI system.

"CPSI has also enhanced Point of Care with the addition of Flow Charts. We have found that the Flow Charts are a great application for specialty units that are very fast-paced, as well as for the inpatient units that need to standardize their documentation processes."
