"Sweetwater Hospital Association is a 59-bed facility that also manages the independent private practices of 24 physicians. We also operate a home health agency. Because we operate on-site clinics, our outpatient volume averages 250 claims per day. Because of the efficiencies of the CPSI billing systems we are able to centrally manage all patient accounting operations for the hospital, home health, and physician practices with only two patient account representatives, six insurance clerks, and four data processing clerks. This is possible due to features such as user-defined edits on insurance processing and medical necessity programs. We are now experiencing an approved claim percentage of 97%. The CPSI system has enabled our hospital to provide quality physician practice management services necessary to attract physicians to our hospital and enable us to grow."
