Our focus has been twofold - to be active on a national level in the organizations that are shaping the future of healthcare IT and to act as an advocate for the interests of our rural and community hospital constituency. We maintain membership and are actively involved in the following organizations:
CPSI is a Corporate Member of the HIMSS organization, an active participant in the EHRA, and an annual participant in the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase. CPSI is a voting member of the EHRA Government Relations Work Group.
IHE is an initiative within the healthcare industry to promote standards-based interoperability and improve the way computer systems share information. When systems are developed in accordance with IHE, they allow better communication among systems, easier implementation and more effective use of information by care providers.
