The CPSI Core Measures module automatically generates patient episodes of care based upon hospital-defined trigger events to facilitate the collection of quality measures.  The module can track of all of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) quality measures including the ten required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for participation in the National Voluntary Hospital Reporting Initiative.  Participation in the national initiative ensures that the hospital continues to receive full Medicare payments.
