The Health Information Management module is fully integrated with the Census and Patient Accounting modules. A DRG Grouper and its associated reports support the quality assurance/quality control needs of Insurance Billing. When used in conjunction with the Master Patients Index module, this module supports the operational needs of the modern medical records department including transcription, case indexing/abstracting, statistical reporting, chart location, with complete integration with the insurance billing function. Advanced statistical reporting and extended text processing support is available through the use of the integrated Database and Text Processing modules.
