The Home Health Point of Care module is designed to meet the unique needs and regulatory requirements of home health agencies and, through integration with the Home Health Administration module, provides a complete home care information system solution.
The module includes OASIS data gathering and submission capabilities as well as home care clinical documentation. Patient data for scheduled visits may be downloaded to laptop computers and updated at the agency or via modem. The Point of Care data entry screens are menu driven and utilize touch screen technology to facilitate the easy selection of user defined responses. Patient visit information is updated remotely and then uploaded to the system at the end of the day. The Home Health Point of Care module increases a home care agency's efficiency by providing home care professionals with a mobile source for all of the infromation required to perform scheduled visits, reducing the amount of paperwork, and saving the time normally required in rekeying visit information and charge entry. All of this may be accomplished via modem without necessitating a visit to the agency.
