The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument module provides hospital clinicians with the ability to complete patient assessment documentation in an expedient and efficient manner.  The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) module utilizes CPSI’s Multi-disciplinary Point of Care Documentation and Electronic Forms technologies to streamline the completion of inpatient rehabilitation assessments, generation of the IRF-PAI forms, and submission of data for Case Mix Groups (CMG) calculations.  As a fully integrated component of the CPSI System, the module automatically updates billing charges based on the calculated CMG and generates electronic files for direct submission to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
