This system provides timely and accurate information as a byproduct of the day to day operations of the Order Entry application. It communicates to nursing during the ordering process the appropriate procedures and prep instructions, keeps a journal of the orders received and processed, handles a variety of processing chores after the order is reviewed, and allows the department to customize its results to be sent back to nursing. The CPSI Physical Therapy System allows the user to 1) receive orders from any designated location, 2) process the order and report results, and 3) maintain technical, statistical, and account information. It eliminates tedious paperwork, calculations, and written documentation while allowing for easy retrieval of data and statistics.
