All initial training is provided on-site at the hospital. Training includes education of personnel in the operation of the hardware and correct usage of the application software. The training covers the actual integration of the CPSI System into the day-to-day operations of the hospital. We offer advice and guidance on how the system can be most effectively used. This operational training is from the management level down to the most efficient way for an insurance clerk to process claims. The training is hands-on and individualized.
All training is performed for the fixed fee as quoted in the system proposal. There is no open ended obligation or additional liability required on the part of the hospital. The commitment by CPSI is twofold: (1) to have each application up and running on a day-to-day basis. and (2) to have hospital management satisfied that their personnel are well versed, knowledgeable, and comfortable in the operation of the system and use of the information produced as a result of these operations. We consider the quoted fees as a ceiling to accomplish these objectives and bring up each application as we have described. The normal installation time for the average hospital for the base financial applications is 3 weeks, with 3 - one week follow up visits. After the installation of the base applications, the speed at which departmental and patient care systems are installed is dependent almost solely on the hospital's installation time frame. |
